NOTICED started with a simple idea: people should be able to recognize when someone else is open to being noticed without turning every interaction into another profile, feed, or chat thread.
Gainesville is where we started. The plan is to keep expanding city by city, with the community helping decide where NOTICED goes next.

Built by someone who knows systems.
NOTICED was founded by James, a longtime technology professional with nearly two decades of experience across cloud architecture, site reliability engineering, software engineering, automation, and building technical systems.
From conception to production, NOTICED was created by James alone — zero employees — in less than 24 hours.
He resides in Florida with his dogs, Giselle, Mara, and Murphy.
The product reflects that background: simple on the surface, deliberate underneath, and designed to scale without turning the human part into another complicated app experience.

We’re interested in advertising and marketing partnerships, local launch partners, venues, university organizations, events, brand collaborations, press, and other opportunities that can help NOTICED grow responsibly.
As the system expands, we also expect to build a larger operating team across community management, partnerships, marketing, growth, support, and day-to-day platform operations.
Brand ambassadors help introduce NOTICED locally, build awareness, create momentum, and connect us with the people and communities that shape their city.
Earn cash when verified new members join with your ambassador promo code. The program is performance-based and tiered: as the number of eligible signups you generate grows, your earning potential grows too—with no preset earnings cap.
Cash payouts begin on a monthly schedule. Ambassadors who reach higher performance tiers may qualify for more frequent payouts. Eligibility rules, tier requirements, payout rates, and payment timing will be confirmed in writing before participation begins.
We’re looking for capable, resourceful people who want to help shape an early-stage company. The exact positions are still being defined, so we want to hear from people who can show us where they would make the strongest impact.

Safety & Community Guidelines
NOTICED is designed for real-world connection. Respect comes first.
A shared signal is not consent.
Seeing someone using the same signal only tells you they are participating in NOTICED. It does not mean they want to talk, date, share contact information, or continue an interaction.
Respect boundaries immediately.
If someone is not interested, seems uncomfortable, says no, walks away, or does not engage, leave the interaction there. Do not follow, pressure, repeatedly approach, or harass anyone.
Keep interactions appropriate.
Do not use NOTICED to threaten, intimidate, impersonate, stalk, dox, exploit, or target another person. Do not photograph or record someone in a way that violates their privacy or local rules.
Use normal real-world judgment.
Meet and interact in environments where you feel comfortable. If a situation feels unsafe, disengage. In an emergency, contact local emergency services or venue security.

Information you provide
NOTICED may collect information you submit directly, such as your email address, mobile phone number, account credentials, promo codes, city votes, support messages, and partnership inquiries. Registration-attempt records may retain the email address or phone number entered, the submission action, its outcome, and the submission time, including when a submission is incomplete or invalid. Passwords and verification codes are not stored in the registration-attempt log.
Payments
Account registration uses an email address and mobile phone number. These are used to verify the account and protect member access. Payment information is handled by Stripe through Stripe-hosted checkout. NOTICED does not collect raw card numbers on this website or display payment details to other members.
Usage and technical information
The service may process basic device, browser, security, and usage information needed to operate the service, prevent abuse, measure reliability, and understand how features are used.
NOTICED XO records account and feature actions including profile views, searches, tab openings, public posts and replies, likes, event signups, community and conversation activity, badge or perk changes, blocks, and approximate-presence changes. Profile-view totals count a viewing account only once per viewed profile per UTC day even when additional view events are retained in the secured audit log.
No public profile requirement
The NOTICED concept does not require a public member profile, public member photos, or in-app public chat in order to participate.
NOTICED XO is a separate, non-anonymous experience with visible member profiles and named public activity. Location sharing remains optional. The service rounds shared coordinates into coarse areas, displays only aggregate ranges containing at least three recently active participants, and removes a participant from the live view after one hour without an update. Other members are not shown exact coordinates.
Direct-message and group-message content is stored so conversation participants can use those features, but it is excluded from Bold public activity history. Voice audio is not recorded by the current service. Event signup totals are public within XO; attendee identities are not.
Retention and account requests
Information should be retained only as needed to provide the service, meet legal or security obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain legitimate business records. Account or privacy requests can be sent to james@apexmarketpros.com.

What NOTICED provides
NOTICED provides members with a private rotating signal intended to help participating people recognize one another in real life. The service does not guarantee introductions, conversations, dates, relationships, attendance, or any particular social outcome.
Membership and billing
The Stripe checkout page controls the price that applies to your purchase. Regular NOTICED offers Semester access for $19 one-time, Annual access for $29 one-time, or Monthly access for $7 recurring monthly. Payment is charged immediately at signup. XO pricing is displayed separately at checkout.
Promo codes
Promo codes may be subject to eligibility rules, expiration dates, usage limits, or other conditions shown when the promotion is offered.
Cancellation
Recurring memberships continue until canceled. Members can request cancellation through the Contact page. Cancellation stops future renewal; access can continue through the already-paid period when Stripe records the subscription as active through that date. Failed or inactive subscriptions do not retain member-only access.
Real-world interactions
A shared signal does not represent consent, compatibility, interest, or permission to approach someone repeatedly. Members are responsible for their own conduct and must follow the Safety & Community Guidelines.
Acceptable use
Do not use the service for harassment, stalking, impersonation, fraud, unlawful conduct, interference with the service, or attempts to defeat account, voting, payment, or access controls.
Changes to the service
NOTICED may update signals, features, pricing, supported locations, or other parts of the service as the product develops. Current information displayed at checkout and inside the service should control over older promotional material.

Positive-only reputationWhen another member likes something you publish, your score increases by one point. A like can be undone during a one-hour grace period; after that it becomes permanent. There is no dislike or downvote button.
Free, optional PerksOpt into individual perks that can unlock membership discounts, badges, or other benefits. Members can collect and display multiple badges as more perks arrive.

Bold activity historyYour profile shows everything you publish in public spaces and every item you like. Direct-message and group-DM content stays private, and voice conversations are not recorded.

Badges everywhereYour active Perks and ranking badges follow your name across profiles, chats, direct messages, group messages, and close-range heat-map encounters. The wider map shows only anonymous badge totals—not identities.
Heat map includedEvery XO subscription includes the heat map by default. Turn sharing of your own approximate presence on or off at any time. The initial experience is planned to show anonymous activity within up to 15 miles; expanded range may arrive in a future Feature Drop.
Names unlock only nearbyZooming never reveals who is inside an activity area. Names and profile badges become visible only after the app verifies a close-range, Bluetooth-like encounter. Actual range varies by device and surroundings.
Major events on the mapEvents with enough confirmed signups can display their name, start date and time, and participant count. Attendee identities stay hidden, and the qualifying signup threshold is still to be determined.
Account activity recordsProfile views, event signups, likes, posts, badge changes, blocks, and other platform actions create secured activity records. Private-message content, group-DM content, and voice audio are excluded from public history.
